Company under new ownership but up to its old tricks
This company was purchased out of bankruptcy and relocated to New York. I received a new catalog from them a couple of years ago announcing this news. I made a small purchase to see if it was true. My order arrived later than I was told it would, but it did arrive, so I made a larger order back in November of 2018. My order did not arrive when promised, but my card had not been charged yet, so I waited into January. My card was charged, so I figured my order would be coming soon. As the 60-day limit for disputing a charge on my credit card approached, I still had not received my order, in spite of several calls and emails to the company. I actually got ahold of a live person ONCE when I called. Usually I just got a recording that told me to leave my number, though no one ever returned my calls. The live person assured me I would hear something by the end of that week, but I heard nothing. Just before the 60-day limit for disputes, I disputed the charge to my card, and Visa reversed the charge. I never received my order, and I have never heard from this company again. I have no idea how they stay in business, but if you decide to order from them, keep an eye on your credit card statements and your calendar, and pay only by credit card so you can dispute the charge if your order does not show up.
