My boyfriend purchased a car for me about 2 weeks ago from car pros kia of carson. Within the first three days, I went to get out of my vehicle and the door would not open. So I called my boyfriend and he came to the gas station to help me. The door panel was cracked and there was a missing part inside of it. So it was wedged on the frame of the car. I had to get out of the car from the passenger side so the panel would not tear off. I then noticed that the air filter on the car was completely BLACK. I asked them to replace it but they stated that they would only BLOW the airfilter out. FIlters are only $10 dollars. I dropped off my car and they fixed the panel but then stated to me that they did not have time to blow the airfilter. I purchased a new filter and replaced it. As days went, my "intelligent key remote" to my car started giving me issues. I couldn't start my car at times and the button for the trunk does not work either, so I purchased one for $40 dollars and have yet to get it programmed because it costs $120 at the dealership. The 7th day of me having the vehicle there was a really loud noise from the right front tire area. Took car to dealership and they said nothing was wrong and 'lubed" the suspension. Noise was still there, they looked at it again and they stated the struts had to be replaced and wanted to charge me $825.00. This experience has been so embarrassing in front of my family and friends. Due to the problems,I have only had my car for 8 whole days....*UPDATE* YESTERDAY, 7/21/2011, their service department performed the work on my car UNAUTHORIZED. We contact the dealer at 7:30 a.m. (that is when their service dept opens) and specifically told them to NOT touch our car because we don't feel that we have to put any money into a car that was purchased two weeks ago, and have had nothing but problems with. But they went ahead and lied and did the work anyways, and charged me $400. How can someone have so many issues with a car in two weeks and you can still charge them. But I should have read the BBB reviews first before I went to them. So, I still have a car that does not have a remote that works properly, a $400 bill on top of my car payment, and no help from them what so ever. All they wanted to do was to put me in a new car (why? dont you sell used cars for a reason?) INSPECT YOUR VEHICLES BEFORE YOU SELL THEM!! And I regret that my boyfriend bought your entire sales department lunch. You did not deserve it. We are nice and loyal people, and we expected the same, but we got swindled. I'm sorry for everyone else on here that went through the same thing, I lost 3 days of work, and countless hours on the phone with Car Pros Kia. " Your gonna like what you SEE" ( BUT YOUR NOT GONNA LIKE WHAT YOU DRIVE) As of today ( three weeks after purchasing a $13,000.00 dollar car in cash) i will have spent $828.00. (including 3 days of lost hours from work, not including gas back and forth) Conclusion, i will be dropping off my Nissan Sentra at a Nissan Dealership first thing Monday morning and really find out what is going on with this car. UPDATE 8/9/2011, now MY air conditioning is making a loud noise, to the point to where you cant hear the radio. i wonder how many things can go wrong with this vehicle.
