this place is awful and i would not recommend it to ANYONE. when i initially found this place online i was thinking about taking the phlebotomy course. when i called the phone number on their website i let them know i was a cna but did not have any experience in phlebotomy. they let me know that it was ok and that there were no prerequisites for the course. they said anyone could take it and that once i completed the course i would have the proper training and certificate to go out and get a job as a phlebotomist. i went ahead and signed up. once i got to the class i was told that i would need 20 live sticks before i could get a job (something i was not told initially). when i asked the instructor how i would get these live sticks she let me know i could call up any blood bank to volunteer and i would be able to get them under the supervision of a phlebotomist. when i completed the course i called around to multiple blood banks and every place told me i couldn't volunteer because it was a liability issue and that the school i went to was supposed to refer me somewhere to get my live sticks. when i called critical concepts back and let them know what happened they told me they had no one to refer me to and that i could only volunteer. i became very upset and let them know that no where was letting me volunteer and that i wasn't going to be able to get a job without it. they told me it wasn't their problem and that they couldn't help me anymore. i requested that i get my money back for the course because apparently i wouldn't be able to get a job and the whole class was a waste of my time and money. they refused to give me my money back saying it wasn't their responsibility to send me somewhere for my sticks. this place will give you false information just to get your money and then are not willing to help once they have it. they pretty much stole my money and i got nothing for it. the man that answers the phone is also very rude and was not considerate at all about my situation.
