Review 10/8/2009

I recently moved to a new place and wanted to get hurricane protections (accordion shutters and impact windows); the sales person was very convincing (he said he would personally make sure all jobs were finished before the end of September and gave me a 10 years warranty!); prices were also very competitive so I signed up with them. I was told that the first charge to my credit card would be made after 3 business days according to Florida Law; it was done after 2. This was more than a month ago and I never heard from them again. I left voice messages to call me back, they never did. I called the sales person twice; first he told me that I had to speak directly to the offices (where you can only leave voice messages and they don't call you back), even though he first said he would be personally responsible for this job (as he was used to put a lot of pressure to his crews). The next time I could speak to him (about a week ago) he told me the company had closed doors. I guess I should be glad I paid with my credit card as I immediately asked for a credit on this charge.
