ABSOLUTE SCAM!!! Beware, beware, beware!!!!!
My wifes phone was recently 'hacked' by this company and I had to spend the better half of a day getting it resolved.
They will steal your information from other sites, send you an text message (spam type), and if you don't respond to their text, they will start charging you monthly subscription charges ($5 to $30 a month). When you try to contact them, they will not work with you, instead they just start a bunch of new subscriptions. This is a fact and I had to deal with it myself all afternoon. My carrier WAS able to put a 3rd party block on our lines, however she cautioned that that may not be enough to stop them from getting through. Our carrier actually has a special website setup to help it's customers monitor this fraudulent activity and remove the charges without having to go through customer support (they spend alot of time reversing charges from this company!!!!)
You can get a refund from your phone carrier, but be careful as this will usually trigger a bunch of new subscriptions (they seem to like sending them using the cancelation information!).
Beware!!!
As a side note:
I'm sure this will soon be going to a legal issue (I'm going to be talking with our lawyers about it later). If so, we need a petition page started to sign up those taken by these scumbags.
