I dropped my 07 Pacifica, (that I've only had for two months), off on Monday the 13th of July around noon. It was not shifting past 3rd gear and the check engine light was on.
The rep told me that they were busy and they would be able to look at it till Tuesday. Tuesday comes and at the end of the day I get a call from the rep saying that they found several issues and the most important part for the transmission was on order and would not be here for a week, but it was all covered under warranty. OK, so a week rolls by and I don't here anything, so I call to find out what's going on and the rep tells me the part came in and they would be installing on Thursday. Thursday I get a call at about 12ish that my car is ready to be picked up. I get a ride down to pick up my car around 1:30. They check me out, hand me my keys and I get in to start my car and the check engine light is still on. So I tell one of the reps there this and he has one of the techs pull it back in, saying it just needed to be cleared. An hour later they tell me that the car wont go into overdrive and they might have to replace the transmission. They offer me a shuttle ride home only after they see the frustration in my eyes. Then the driver for the shuttle throws a fit when I tell him that I live in Mountain View, because he gets off at four and it was 3pm and they don't pay overtime, and I should have came in earlier. I told him that it wasn't my problem. As I am writing this on Saturday at 7:45 am, I still have no clue what's going on with my car, even after several attempts to get a hold of anyone on Friday and this morning. I am very disappointed that I wasn't offered a loaner car and my time was wasted, and they don't seem to check the car before calling the customer to pick up the vehicle.
