If you are assigned to Jennifer, ask for another listing agency.
Maybe other representatives with Realty Dot are better. But if you are assigned to Jennifer with the email (jennifersellshouses@yahoo.com) ask the for sale by owner provider you are working with to assign you to someone else. Our house has been listed through her for 2 months. And these are the issues we had: 1.) Just found out our property was never listed on the realtors database AT ALL for the past 60 days because Jennifer never got around to it. In addition, fsbo.com said that she never even confirmed with them either! 2.) She is never in her office, and never answers calls. When she finally called me back, she said she is not obligated to be in the office during business hours to answer calls as an online listing agency. She said that she'll only call people back that leave voicemails (but can only check voicemails when in her office, which who knows how often that actually is). If she didn't plan on forwarding the inquiries, she could have at least posted my direct number as the contact instead! 3. I have had one Realtor and two individuals inquire about my house. The Realtor said it took a week to get her to call back, then gave her the wrong number to call me at. She said Jennifer was beyond rude to her about the situation. The two other potential buyers said after a week of calling the Realty Dot number and never hearing back, they drove to my house and got my direct number off my yard sign. 4. When I tried adding photos to max out the 25, she then told me I was really only allowed to have 6 photos- and that they made a mistake to even give more than that. Even though the package I bought CLEARLY states I was to be able to post up to 25. When I copied and pasted the originally agreement of the 25 photos, she never responded back. 5. You don't want her to be the first person a potential buyer talks to. She was patronizing, and the only Realtor to ever even hear back from her told me her client almost walked simply because of how unprofessional she was and they were afraid she would be the one they'd have to work with. 6. When I called her about these concerns, she spoke to me like I was a 5 year old. I was treated as if I did nothing but waste her time and she could care less about the fact that for 60 days my listing was not even listed and that my $400 was being wasted. I very rarely complain, and try to be kind and considerate to the businesses I work with. I usually go out of my way to give great reviews to companies I work with to help promote them. This is one of the first bad reviews I have ever written. I feel morally obligated to warn people of this woman's careless and disrespectful business tactics. Thank goodness fsbo.com could still switch me to a different listing agent. Maybe now the people that call about our home will actually get to talk to someone!
