0 rating! I highly recommend not doing any business with US Buildings of Deerfield Beach, FL. My husband was conned into purchasing a building from them on Feb. 1, 2010. What they sold him over the phone was completely different from what they sent a contract for. My husband, who is very trusting, signed the contract and faxed it back because the salesperson was rushing him. Then my husband showed the contract to me. Wow, it is unbelievable to me the things that are on the contract that completely contradicted what he was told over the phone and the contract has in small print, "No verbal conditions, agreements, representations or warranties shall be enforceable against the seller." Unbelievable and this is just a small piece of the pie. We have lost $2,600 on a non-refundable deposit and I have spent hours trying to get it back. I have made calls to local politicians in my state, sherrif's office, lawyers, and have spent hours researching on the internet. It is amazing the complaints that are out there against this and other companies like this in the state of Florida. After sending them the contract they make it almost impossible to contact them and won't aknowledge any messages that you try to leave stating you want to cancel. When you do finally get through to talking to a salesperson, days after trying, they claim they have had so many expenses already on your building that they can justify keeping the deposit which for us was $2,600. They tried to tell me the building was already in California, gave me the name of a town but refused to give me the address or phone number of where it was stored. According to the contract, it never should have even left the factory without contacting us with the final payment. The salesperson stated over the phone that the freight would be paid all the way to Nome, AK but then the contract had in small print COD to Nome, AK. This has been an unbelieble nightmare for us and it amazes me that a business such as this can continue to be in business and that they are not doing jail time for their actions. Sorry BBB but I have nothing nice to say about this business.
